It's my fault that I didn't look at the copyright date. This is an early Twentieth Century book on what was "modern" in the copper smelting industry in the late Nineteenth and early Twentieth Centuries. It has little to do with modern copper smelting. It's an interesting piece of history, but that's all.In the book's defense, there do not seem to be any decent textbooks on today's copper smelting methods -- at least none sold by Amazon.
